Comfort, ease, and historic charm

Great room gatherings

The great room is the heart of Timberholm Inn. Filled with historic charm and natural light, the great room’s large windows provide a front-row seat to the gorgeous mountain scenery.

The ample seating options include two spacious dining tables where you’ll enjoy a 5-star breakfast made from scratch each morning.

Day or night, you’re welcome to hang out in the great room, dive into puzzles and games, and sip on something warm. Enjoy delicious local coffee, a range of teas, and tasty cocoa from our 24/7 hot drink station.

Find a cozy spot to relax with a book, enjoy the mountain views, or have a chat by our impressive fieldstone fireplace, originally constructed in 1949. The great room is your space to make yourself at home and make memories with friends old and new.

Lounge around

Our lounge is where fun happens! Think foosball, shuffleboard, and karaoke when you’re in the mood to sing your heart out.

There’s a big-screen TV for movie nights using our streaming services and a communal fridge to keep your snacks cool and Heady Topper chilled.

Got gear? There’s a spot next to the lounge where you can stash it to dry. And, we’ve got spa towels ready for you when you’re heading to the hot tub.

Outdoor bliss

The deck is the spot for breathing in that fresh mountain air, with views that stretch over the woods to the Worcester Mountain range. It’s lovely for daytime relaxing or evening wine sipping.

Feel like being more active? Timberholm’s private walking trail begins in the far left corner of the front lawn and winds its way in a loop through our beautiful forest, perfect for a morning walk or a snowshoe adventure in winter. We’ve also got horseshoes along the trail for some old-school fun.

Fire pit chats & hot tub soaks

Our fire pit is the place to be on summer and fall evenings, making s’mores and sharing stories.

And our hot tub? It’s ready for you year-round, day or night. Enjoy a soak while gazing at the mountains or under the stars. There’s nothing like a dip in the hot tub after a day skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or biking. Don’t forget to grab a spa towel on your way out!

Stowe's historic charm

Timberholm Inn sits on four private acres smack-dab between Stowe’s buzzing downtown and the snowy slopes of Stowe Mountain Resort on Mountain Road, Route 108.
